Montignards #3 is comprised of Jonathan van der Horst, Tim Bogaerts, Lien Thys, Marie Pien and Rani Decock.
Jonathan van der Horst (b. 1993) is a theatre maker and writer. In 2018, he graduated with a degree in Word Art from the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp. In his work, he hesitatingly seeks a footing in this complex world and tries to figure out what sort of mechanisms lie at the bottom of it all. Besides being a theatre maker, he is one of the core members of the young literary collective and magazine, ZINK.
Tim Bogaerts (b. 1993) is an actor and theatre maker. He graduated in Acting from the Maastricht Academy of Performing Arts in 2016 and has played with companies such as NTGent, KVS, Ultima Vez/Wim Vandekeybus and Compagnie Lodewijk/Louis.
Lien Thys (b. 1993) is an actress. She graduated in Drama/Acting from the RITCS School of Arts Brussels in 2018 and has played with companies such as LAZARUS, Abattoir Fermé, Het Nationale Theater and Theater Stap.
Marie Pien (b. 1990) graduated as a musician from the Kunsthumaniora Brussels in 2008 and as a theatre director from the RITCS School of Arts Brussels in 2016. She then combined these two fields by obtaining a Master in Music Theatre from the Royal Conservatoire The Hague in collaboration with Veenfabriek in 2018. She seeks connections between the worlds of theatre and music in her work.
Rani Decock (b. 1994) is a theatre-video-installation-maker. She graduated in Directing from the Maastricht Academy of Performing Arts in 2017. Rani likes to look. She looks at the world and places a spotlight on it here and there. She does this with a feeling for humour and tragedy.
