Anna Franziska Jäger & Nathan Ooms

Nathan Ooms (b. 1996) obtained his Master’s in Drama from the School of Arts|KASK Ghent in June 2019. In 2018, together with Anna Franziska Jäger, he made As a matter of fiction, in which they offered a theatrical reflection of Stefan Zweig’s novel Beware of Pity. The year after that they made Some Things Last a Long Time, Nathan’s Master’s exam, which was shown at Love at first Sight#4. Although the collaboration between Nathan and Anna Franziska thrives on their mutually diverse interests in theatre, they find common ground in their focus on the importance of the body as a measure for relating to the world and on the question of how fiction can serve as a means of addressing the abstract. Nathan trained with Ula Sickle, where he worked on the production Relay (2018). In the 2018-2019 season, he appeared in the show Drawings by Marc Vanrunxt. Currently he is following the STUDIOS programme at P.A.R.T.S.
