Ibtissam Boulbahaiem (b. 1994) graduated from the Drama department of the LUCA School of Arts in Leuven in 2022. Wewomb was her master's thesis. She continues to work on this creation at Zuidpool. Ibtissam already had a residency at Zuidpool in 2021, together with fellow students Britt Das, Femke Van der Steen and Dagmar Dierick. You could become acquainted with their project Hysteria during an online evening at that time. Ibtissam follows her nose in all sorts of directions as a theatre maker. In doing so, she makes connections with other curiously searching people, dances with words, consoles with tears and flirts with laughter.
