The montignards#5 are eight young makers (Ali Can Ünal, Egon Schoelynck, Hanne Timmermans, Khalid Koujili El Yakoubi, Lennert De Vroey, Mira Bryssinck, Mona Mina Leon and Runa Robbroeckx) who for six months in 2021 conducted an intensive exploration of the theatrical arts under Monty’s wings. With interrogators as sparring partners, they produced a finished piece of work every three weeks. During this skills course, the montignards put in long hours and gained professional expertise, writing, directing, acting, breathing, sweating, presenting, falling and getting back up on their feet.
