of the woman
on the radio
slap in the face
we are tired
we shake the sand
out of our shoes
Stil(l) is a two-part song about what is no more. In their search for something they share, two people take leave of the things around them. They ask questions, name things and redefine them. Virgin space lies concealed between end and beginning. Tim Taveirne (1994) wrote an idiosyncratic script which is prized open in an unexpected way by actress Loes Swaenepoel (1994) and the author himself, who respond playfully to each other.
Stil(l) is Tim Taveirne’s Master’s thesis. He graduated from the School of Arts Ghent I KASK Ghent (Master Drama) in June 2017.
