Lukas Glowacki (b. 2001) is both a theatre maker and a puppeteer. He graduated in Directing & Writing at the Drama Department of RITCS in 2024. During his first year at RITCS, he began to explore puppet-making and discovered that he likes to sketch out and depict his ideas. His work often starts from a situation, conversation or emotion he experiences himself, which he then translates into an image by means of metaphors. He does this by making drawings and puppets.
Lukas has meanwhile become a familiar face at theatre DE MAAN. He did an internship during one of their productions, made the illustrations and puppets for MAANpad 2023 and created the first and second part of his master project Bonjour Mademoiselleke there.
