Sinaas is the musical alter ego of visual artist Fleur De Roeck. In Sinaas Summer Show, it’s as if the creatures and objects from one of her paintings have tumbled out onto the stage. The result is a magical and absurd universe of imagery, performers, dancers, and musicians, all orbiting around her—turning the stage into a living painting.
Sous un soleil pâle, jaune, pleine, lune,
Des créatures aperçues
Passent par la porte
Violette
Sorties de mon rêve,
Je continue de dormir éveillé
Tel un capitaine,
Je navigue parmi ces êtres
Qui croisent mon chemin.
Chapeau sur la tête,
Je chante et me libère
Pour enfin m’éveiller,
Battant des ailes,
Dansant ensemble.
